Join us for a new format!

5:30 – 6:30 join us for a per-presentation “Literature Review” for 1 CE. You must be there for the entire hour to get the CE certificate. 4 members will present one journal article (15 minutes each)

We will then have some time to network before we dine and have the pleasure of Chellie DeVries’ presentation. 

Objectives:

  • Connect Infection Prevention, Vascular Access and Critical Care Specialties
  • Examine the importance of proactive CVAD care and mainenance and current Infection Prevention measures
  • Identify risks associated with Peripheral Intravenous (PIV) Catheters
  • Discuss changes in standards and guidelines impacting practice
  • Explore the evolving practices in PIV management and risk reduction
