The Association for Vascular Access (AVA) is an organization of healthcare professionals founded in 1985 to support and promote the specialty of vascular access. The mission of AVA is to distinguish the vascular access specialty and define standards of vascular access through an evidence-based approach designed to enhance healthcare. Today, its multidisciplinary membership advances research, provides professional and public education to shape practice and enhance patient outcomes, and partners with the device manufacturing community to bring about evidence-based innovations in vascular access.

Are you interested in being part of a growing and progressive multidisciplinary organization that promotes excellence in clinical practice, and provides networking and educational opportunities for health care professionals? AVA is looking for individuals with a variety of skills to support our mission and drive our strategic plan forward. These skills include organizational or clinical management, finance, marketing, education, clinical practice, research, technology, and grant writing. Or perhaps you have talent in an area we haven’t even thought of!
